UTICA, Mich. - The Lawrence Tech Blue Devils split their doubleheader against Northwestern Ohio today, with both games ending in 1-0 scores. In the first game, the Blue Devils were held to just one hit, a single by Andrew Merz in the bottom of the seventh. Northwestern Ohio scored the only run of the game in the top of the first inning on a sacrifice fly. Despite a strong performance from Lawrence Tech pitcher Kenny Wright, who pitched a complete seven-inning game allowing only one run, the Blue Devils' offense struggled to find a rhythm against UNOH's pitcher, who also threw a complete-game shutout.

The second game saw the Blue Devils bounce back with a dominant 11-1 victory. Lawrence Tech's offense exploded for 14 hits, including multiple-hit games from several players.
